Dina Weinberg | English Faculty | USA
Dina Weinberg has been working with students in many capacities for more than 20 years. Her approach to teaching and learning stems from her belief that every person has the capacity to grow in a fulfilling and enjoyable way. Dina currently has a private tutoring business where she works one-on-one with students on expository, personal, and historical writing skills, as well as computational and organizational skills. Before becoming a full time tutor, Dina taught English at an independent school in New York City.
Dina has a BA in English Literature from Lehman College, and a BA in Communication and Culture from CUNY School of Professional Studies. When she is not working with students academically, you can find her teaching and practicing yoga throughout the New York City area. Dina and her husband live in Bronx, NY, where they raised their two (now grown) daughters, who are the apples of her eye. Her older daughter graduated from Barnard College in 2016, and is working as a technician in a neuroscience lab at Rockefeller University while she applies to PhD programs. Her younger daughter is pursuing a mathematics and sociology double major at Amherst College.
