Audrey Hazzard has been helping students boost their test scores and gain acceptance into their first choice colleges since 2012. She has worked with almost 200 students who have gone on to attend many excellent colleges and universities, including many top-tier schools.
Audrey grew up in a tiny town in Illinois. Her early education was a mixture of Montessori and Jesuit schools, as well as one year of home school. This exposure to diverse pedagogical strategies informs her tutoring style and provides her with a wide range of tools for ensuring effective communication with students.
In high school, Audrey was a National Merit Finalist who wrote for the newspaper, led several clubs, and tutored her peers for the ACT and SAT. She attended Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia, before beginning her career in corporate training and education at a Fortune 500 company. Audrey spent six years developing and implementing educational modules for federally mandated regulatory training, as well as conducting training sessions, both in person and online, in one-on-one settings and for groups as large as 500. In 2014, Audrey turned her full-time focus to test prep and college counseling.
Audrey loves reading and writing, traveling whenever she can, camping, and hiking. She also spends a lot of time in the kitchen, trying new recipes or duplicating something she found in a restaurant, or scouting the farmer’s market for new and interesting produce.
