Scored 1550 on 2016 SAT practice exam
Falina joined Revolution Prep in 2011, and has been working with students one-on-one and in small groups since 2013. She fosters a mentorship relationship with all of her students early on, and ensures that they are learning in a fun and comfortable environment. She takes the time to fully understand her students’ strengths, weaknesses, passions, and learning styles so she can uniquely tailor the lessons to each individual student, build their confidence, and make the strongest recommendations possible.
Falina’s passions for math, reading, and foreign languages allow her to connect with a wide variety of students, especially middle and high school girls, high achieving students, athletes, and international students. Her approachable nature and teaching style builds trust with her students, and they are reassured from the first session that they can always reach out to her with questions at any time.
Falina graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Spanish Languages and Literatures, and double minors in Applied Statistics and International Studies. She studied for a semester in Granada, Spain, and has a passion for travel which spans over eleven countries and three continents. In addition to tutoring with Revolution, she is also a Master’s student in Education at Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. In her spare time, you can find her reading, cooking, or planning her next trip across the world.
