Meet Our Team –
Since 1996, Stephen Heiner has taught over 25,000 hours of SAT/ACT classes and worked with over 2,000 students. For many families, he has tutored not just the first child, but the second, third, and even fourth.
Robyn Scott has been teaching SAT, ACT, AP for over nine years–she has over 7,500 hours of test prep experience. She also has vast experience teaching ESL. In her tutoring, Robyn stresses goal-oriented outcomes and has had remarkable success with helping her students reach their goals. She holds a BA from the University of California, Irvine (magna cum laude), and an MA from the University of Southampton (located in Southampton, England).
RL is a graduate of Harvard College. At Harvard, RL was an SAT tutor, researcher, fact-checker, peer counselor, and marathon runner. RL worked as a line cook for one day, and a barista for three before realizing that RL really just loves teaching. RL is currently studying for an MFA in creative writing; fiction is forthcoming most recently in the Chicago Quarterly Review and Nat. Brut.
Higher Education Consultant, MBA Juan Camilo Tamayo has assisted thousands of students in reaching their educational goals. His eighteen year career in higher education has given him extensive and successful experience in guiding families through the process of choosing and applying to colleges and universities in the United States and abroad.
Christian E. Safie, BSBA |Technology and Development Coordinator Christian Elias Safie graduated from Lynn University in May, 2012, with a degree in Business Administration. During his education he had opportunities to experience living and studying abroad in Rome and Naples, Italy, in addition to Lynn’s campus in Boca Raton, Florida. These experiences are instrumental to his broad view of education and his commitment to helping others attain their goals.
Carolina Jaramillo, BBA | Higher Education Assistant, Regional Coordinator | Colombia Carolina Jaramillo was born in Medellín, Colombia. In 1991, after graduating from The Columbus School, she moved to New York to study Baking and Pastry at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. There she earned her Associate’s degree in December of 1993. Shortly after graduating, Ms. Jaramillo moved to New York City to continue her studies at Pace University, Lubin School of Business, where she earned her B.B.A. in International Business in June of 1997.
Beatriz Guerra | Administrative Coordinator Beatriz Guerra was born in San Salvador, El Salvador. As a 15-year-old she moved to Florida where she finished her high school studies at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. She was part of the Spanish Club for 3 years and served as the Vice-president her senior year.
