Dr. Orlando Rodriguez | Psychologist | USA
Dr. Rodriguez is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida. He received his Doctorate from Albizu University and completed both his clinical internship and post-doctoral residency in Miami, Florida. Dr. Rodriguez also received a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Albizu University and has worked with students as a guidance counselor for more than seven years.
Dr. Rodriguez has significant experience administering numerous types of psychological evaluations to children, adolescents, and adults in both English and Spanish. He also has experience providing services to children diagnosed with various genetic disorders and serious medical conditions. His clinical specialties and interests include treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, identity and adjustment issues, interpersonal difficulties, topics related to fatherhood, and issues specific to young athletes.
Dr. Rodriguez utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities in his approach to therapy and collaborates with his patients on deciding what works best for them.
Based on research completed during his dissertation, Dr. Rodriguez has also developed a unique program for young athletes who have recently experienced or are currently experiencing post-concussion symptoms. His program is designed to reduce the persisting symptoms often observed in young athletes who have suffered a head injury in order to help the student meet their educational and athletic goals.
