Sandra Levin | English Faculty | USA
Sandra Levin has over 25 years of experience working with students of all ages and in a variety of capacities. For the past 20 years, Sandra has worked as a classroom teacher and learning specialist in New York City’s independent schools. This Fall, Sandra will teach English at an independent school, as well as working privately as an educational specialist and consultant. She holds two masters’ degrees and has accrued many post graduate hours. In addition to working with middle and high school students, she also coaches teachers on best teaching practices. During the summer of 2018, she taught two writing classes for Columbia University’s Peace Corps Fellows. Sandra has a BA in Dance/Performing Arts; Minor: Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, a M.A. in Dance/Movement Therapy from New York University and a second Masters in Special Education from Bank Street College. She also received her certification from Urban Schools Attuned Institute: A Collaboration Between Dr. Mel Levine’s All Kinds of Minds and Bank Street College in New York.
